- Extended part-time provision
- Combination of 'Inspired' and 'Ambitions' programme's Pathways' provides an extended part-time
alternative education and re-integration
and social awareness programme for the
most disaffected young people aged
11-16 years.
It is designed to meet the educational and
emotional needs of those students who are
disengaged with most and / or the entire
core curriculum and / or have behavioral
issues. This service is a combination of our
'Ambitions' and 'Inspired' programme's.

Student must meet two of the following criteria:
Key Stage 4 students who wish to gain some extra
accreditation and skills for improved opportunities
post-16
Students who would benefit from some vocational,
work-related learning
Students who have behavior support specified on
their statements
Students presenting long-term persistent or
extreme behavior in lessons e.g. high level
disruption, non-compliance; outright defiance;
major incidents (despite major long-term
interventions by school / referring agency)
Students who have been and / or are actively
aggressive to peers and staff (despite major interventions by school / referring agency)
School phobic's and truants returning to school
after a significant period of absence
Students at severe risk of exclusion (Fixed-Term and /
or Permanent) (despite major, long-term interventions
by school / referring agency)
Students who need significant respite from an
emotional crisis
Students who present social and behavioral problems
in unstructured times
Students who have been permanently excluded from
school (e.g. on roll at a registered Pupil Referral Unit)
Students returning from Fixed-Term exclusion
Students / Young People at risk of offending
Students who currently have persistent / long-term poor
/ non-school attendance and are at severe risk of
having <20% attendance for the last 6 weeks and / or
whole school year
Students who are disaffected and / or are socially
excluded (e.g. low self-esteem and confidence)
Students who have severely low levels of literacy,
numeracy and/or skills (e.g. Student not capable of
achieving GCSE's if Key Stage 4)
Students who prefer physical / practical-based learning
Students who need variety and/or have short attention
spans

PROVISION FORM?
The 'Pathways' Programme can be purchased in blocks of
1 term / 6 weeks.
Provision can be provided from at least 1 term up to 5 terms.
Provision is for 2.5 days per week
(15 hours per week (including supervised breaks for young
people).
Provision takes place during term-time only, Monday to Friday.
